please put here your favourite poems, lyrics, short stories... and etc! They could even be written by yourself or a friend!
I'll start with the translation of one of the famous Sadi's poems:

All Adam's race are members of one frame;

All Adam's race are members of one frame;
Since all, at first, from the same essence came.
When by hard fortune one limb is oppressed,
The other members lose their wonted rest:
If thou feel'st not for others' misery,
A son of Adam is no name for thee.

Please lets have conversations about the style, meaning, etc. of each poem or peice of writing. This one in my opinion means, is that humans are all from the same kind and tat we should always help each other. If you don't care for others....well then you aren't really a normal human.

Effective Powerpoint-HELP

Hi again!
I made this new post because over the march break I'm working on this power point relating to bullying/stereotyping/Columbine Highschool Massacre/AND WHAT WE CAN DO TO STOP HORRIBLE THINGS FROM HAPPENING-and I serioulsy need to have it finished by the time March break finishes! I am very very very hopefully hopefully hopefully am going to, in fact I MUST present it, with the help of dear q squred, to my own school and if possible in q square's school. Please give me some tips on how to create this power point...what should I do and do? How can I make it more effective? How can perfectly tie PREVENTING bullying/stereotyping/racism with the Columbine highschool massacre so it won't blow the ppl away? Please give me some support! I always enjoy your feedback! Thankx!

ADD TWO SENTENCES.....

I remember that last year, in the gr.7 blog, Ms. Watt created this really cool post...she had skillfully wrote this great paragraph and asked us each to write a few sentences and continue it, so it would develop into a story...I'm asking you guys to add 2 sentences at a time! Now, u can add more then two, but not more then two at a time. (Meaning that u can't write a second comment only a second after ur previous one-unless someone commented right after ur comment. U know what I mean!)
My paragraph to start with:
"Her fingers ached with such pain that for a second she thought they were being cut right off. Each second seemed like an eternity and her mind and body were completley out of her control. She really wanted to scream but no sound came out. Suddenly a door opened with a moan and then slammed shut with a bang. The girl's soul returned to her granting her releif. She weakly looked up but the man standing before her was buried in the darkness. The man's hand shot out and somehow glowed. The glittering white light was poured onto the paper laying on the table. The girl stared at the paper and froze with shock. It was her drawing."
